Acceptance: The Beginning

Selena Wilson seems completely normal on all accounts except for her family’s secrets, glowing eyes, unusual strength, and other random occurrences. Now, as others' paths start to intertwine with hers, the uncertainty within her begins to bare its fangs. Especially when a mysterious girl named Skylar walks into to her life, and her world is turned upside down. Inner peace is her goal, but will she be able to find it as she is forced to accept the unthinkable while discovering who she really is?

Check out the first award winning book by Rebecca Heidt. The start of the Acceptance series took her all over self discovery and facing hard truths. The outcome is an influential page-turner of lgbtq representation and facing the expectations that others have for us, while remaining who we are. Set and based in Sweden.

Between seeing Skylar almost daily and lines drawn on the ground, things are about to take some unexpected turns.
Out maneuvering Ryder and his pawns may be more complex than it looks. Trust, loyalty, and alliances will be tested. But is that all this rebellion is about? Or is there something more?

In the second book of the LGBT fiction Acceptance series, Acceptance: The Reality, Selena realizes she must accept her new way of life- but does she feel ready to give in to it?

Rebecca Heidt is extremely proud and excited to share her second work Acceptance: The Reality. The project might have been a lengthy one, but this was one story that really needed to be told. It is the second book and an award winner of her Acceptance series.

Acceptance: Reborn

In the third installment of the award-winning LGBTQ+ fiction series, Acceptance: Reborn, Selena has succeeded against Ryder and Kieran in the fight for her birthright. And now? There have been losses, gains, and discoveries on both sides. Old truths have found their way to the light.Selena continues her pursuit to bring unity to a fractured community while grieving the fresh loss of her Uncle. As she tries to leave Skylar behind her, feeling lost and alone, she carves a path forward, looking for her mother, Rose.Amid her self-realization, Selena works alongside Elvira to find answers. Will she find the balance she craves? Or will everything that Selena fought for start falling apart?

Rebecca wrote this story through a severe injury and the death of her father. Ironically, her personal journey was mirroring where the story was intented to go. This allowed her to pull from her experiences and feelings to bring the writing to the next level to share with the readers.
